CVD Portal gives my company a public page where security researchers report vulnerabilities, as the EU Cyber Resilience Act expects. The portal is free. Steps: 1. Ask me for my work email address. The site refuses public providers such as Gmail or Outlook. 2. Open https://cvdportal.com/register and type my address into the "Work email" field. 3. Ask me to type my password into the "Password" field myself. It needs at least 8 characters. Do not make up, store or repeat a password. 4. Show me the Terms of Service (https://cvdportal.com/terms) and the Privacy Policy (https://cvdportal.com/privacy). Tick the agreement box only after I say yes. 5. Leave the optional email reminders checkbox to me. Do not tick it for me. 6. Click "Create my account" (or "Create your account"). If the page shows an error, tell me the exact text and stop. 7. Tell me to open the verification email and click the link. My portal address is in the dashboard after that. Rules: do not enter payment details, and do not sign up an email address that is not mine.
